Chris Ford was voted into Board membership by the HOPE Board of Directors on March 23. Chris has a background in financial management and has worked as a Senior Claims Analyst at Caterpillar Financial for the past 20 years. In addition to his professional experience, Chris brings a lot of value to and alignment with HOPE’s mission as an ordained minister and Director of Outreach and Youth Ministries for the First Baptist Church, Winchester Street, in Gallatin. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; a Master’s Degree in Business from the University of Phoenix; and a Doctoral Degree in Ministry from Emmanuel Theological Seminary. He is originally from Hartsville and now resides in Hendersonville. Welcome to the HOPE family, Chris!
Mara Cruz was voted into Board membership by the HOPE Board of Directors on March 23. Mara is a former HOPE Bilingual Receptionist who left five years ago to raise her children. She lives in Lafayette with her husband and four children. She now works as a translator for Macon County Schools, which allows her to work the same hours that her children are in school. Mara brings exceptional value to the Board with her experience with a local school system, experience working for HOPE Family Health, and her vital connection to our local Hispanic community. Welcome back to the HOPE family, Mara!
Hello, my name is Shara Tubert and I am excited to start a new chapter in my life with everyone at HOPE Family Health. I am married and we have a beautiful daughter and 17-month-old grandson who has stolen my heart. I am originally from Hendersonville and moved to Portland four years ago to enjoy a quieter setting. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s from Lindsey Wilson College in Counseling and Human Development. When I am not working, my husband and I enjoy spending time with our grandson and gardening. I enjoy planting flowers each year and my husband enjoys growing peppers for his homemade hot sauces. My husband and I also enjoy cooking and spending nights outside on the deck.
