Mara Cruz was voted into Board membership by the HOPE Board of Directors on March 23. Mara is a former HOPE Bilingual Receptionist who left five years ago to raise her children. She lives in Lafayette with her husband and four children. She now works as a translator for Macon County Schools, which allows her to work the same hours that her children are in school.
